Core Values
Love - Of all the values and virtues listed in scripture love is the greatest and most powerful. God is love. Love defines His very nature and being. Love motivates all that God does. There is no higher pursuit than to know and experience the love of God and then to demonstrate it and share it with others. All of ministry and life is meant to flow from the place of love. It is in the revelation of the love of God that we are filled to the measure of the fullness of God. Eph. 3:17-19
Grace – We live our lives empowered by His grace. We are recipients of His unmerited favor, and it strengthens us to live by His life and provision. He provided for us what we could not achieve ourselves; because we have freely received we can now freely give. We empower others by showing grace and forgiving sin. We call people up to live from who Christ has made them to be.
Honor – The path of honor is a path of life. To honor is to affix appropriate worth and value to someone. As we honor God so we ought to honor each other that are made in His image. We are to esteem others even higher than ourselves.
Serving – Jesus set before us the model for life and ministry. He did not consider who He was as a hindrance to serve. It is who we are in Him that empowers us to serve others. Serving one another is the fruit of love and honor. It is when we serve that we are most powerful and are able to influence all of society.
Empowered lives – We have been given full access to the
Hunger – It is the hungry that are filled! Our goal is to be satisfied with more of Him. We have tasted of the Lord and found that He is good. How could we feed from what this world offers?
We pursue the Lord; we passionately seek His face, which is the call of all who are called after His name.
Equipping – We believe all Christians are called to live in demonstration of the power of God. We pour our lives into equipping others, fulfilling the call of the Ephesians 4 ministry gifts. We seek to empower and activate each believer into their place of ministry. We place an emphasis on training not just teaching. Our goal is not knowledge but an encounter and a demonstration.
Outreach – Our call is to go. It is wrong to stay and wait for others to come. We take God’s Kingdom with us and demonstrate the saving, healing and delivering power of Jesus with others. We treat those we reach out to with love and honor; they aren’t trophies to be obtained, but trophies to be redeemed. Because we love, we reach out beyond our comfort; laying down our lives to bring them Jesus.
Revival – We don’t need form or religion. We must have His life consuming our lives; the church and all of society. The book of Acts is only the beginning. We seek the manifest presence and Glory of the Lord filling the earth and every realm of society. Lives are transformed in His presence. We don’t need church as normal, we need revival! The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of revival.
Apostolic Mandate – As a house we have been called to lead the way in a regional transformation. Our mission is to spread revival throughout the region by equipping, training and sending forth an army of revivalists that effect change in every realm of society. This mission influences who we are and determines our focus and direction. The other ministries of
Healing – We believe that it is the Lord’s will to heal all those who are oppressed of the devil. God does not make people sick. For this reason we take risk and step out to contend for the sick and those who are in need of a miracle. We pursue breakthrough in those areas where we are not seeing regular occurrences of healing and miracles. Jesus has paid for the healing of body, soul and spirit of every person. We were not commanded to pray for the sick, but to heal them.
Worship – Our lives are to be expressions of worship, it is not just for Sunday morning any more! We have been given access into the heavenly realm to come before Him in worship, pouring out our praise and love to the Godhead. As we press into His world He invades ours, being enthroned on our praises. We place little value in singing songs; our pursuit is to encounter His manifest presence. We may study and pray now, but worship lasts for eternity.
Supernatural – We are spirit beings first. It is expected that we live from that realm. Our lives should not be directed from the earthly perspective. We are seated in heavenly places; we are to live from that world as a priority. God encounters, angels, dreams, visions, translations, glory, manifestations of His presence, hearing, discerning, seeing and other such biblical experiences are accessible to be part of the normal Christian life.
Generosity – We have freely received so much. As we live from the realization of His abundant provision, we cannot live as a people who withhold. Generosity reveals what God is really like. We are channels of blessing; we can’t afford to keep our hands closed.
